Mardell Louise Brown

Mardell Louise Brown, 75 of Grants Pass died December 19, 2006 at her home in Grants Pass. Born in Mason City, Iowa to Vern and Maude brown. The youngest of three girls. Her parents passed away when she was 8 years old and her aunt raised the 3 girls. They moved to Los Angeles, California in May of 1940 she graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1949. She worked for the Telephone Company and Douglas Aircraft on one of the Apollo expeditions. In 1968 she & her daughter moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked for Teledyne MEC for 25 yrs as an Administrative Secretary. She retired from Teledyne. In 1997 she moved to Grants Pass, Oregon with her daughter, son in law, and two granddaughters. She loved taking her granddaughters shopping, spending time with them and her daughter. She was a very caring, giving, loving person always thinking about others before herself. She leaves behind a daughter Debbie Lawrence of Grants Pass, Oregon 2 granddaughters Brittany and Courtney Lawrence of Grants Pass, Oregon. 2 sisters Marlys McKenzie of Lake View Terrace, California. As well as her sister Betty Welch of Oklahoma City, OK. She will truly be missed.
