Mandy Kealani Haro, 37 of Grants Pass passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 in Grants Pass, Oregon. Celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 5th at 6:30 PM at Stephens Family Chapel. Mandy was born on April 21, 1977 in Pomona, California to Michael and Margie Borges. She spent her first 24 years in California, growing up in Azusa, La Puente and Apple Valley. She attended Workman High School in California. It was in California that she met and fell in love with her husband, Manuel Haro. There they had two of their boys. In 2001, they moved to Grants Pass, Oregon to be closer to her sister. In 2002, she had their third son, completing their family. On April 27, 2003 Manuel and Mandy were married in Grants Pass. Some of Mandy's favorite hobbies included tennis, reading, hula dancing, hiking, going to the coast, and playing or watching sports. She attended some classes at Rogue Community College and was the assistant manager at Rue 21. Survivors include her husband, Manuel Haro of Grants Pass, OR; sons, Anthony Haro of Grants Pass, OR, Austin Haro of Grants Pass, OR, and Manuel Jr. of Grants Pass, OR; sister, Lisa Borges of Grants Pass, OR; father, Michael Borges of San Francisco, CA; and mother, Margie Borges of Grants Pass, OR. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Esther Borges of San Francisco, CA on October 19, 2013.
