Lois "Ruth" Touey

Lois “Ruth” Touey (81) of Grants Pass passed away on September 16, 2022, at Asante Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass. 
    Ruth was born on January 23, 1941 in Ventura, California to Burl and Gladys Billings. She married Walter Wayne Touey on October 14, 1963, and they had four sons. Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for a feed and grain store for a number of years, but was most passionate about spending time with her family, whether that be at Thanksgiving gatherings or vacations to Shasta Lake where they would go houseboating. She also loved to crochet. 
    Ruth is survived by her children, Michael and Shelley Touey, Randy and Francis Touey, Rick and Lysa Touey, and Brian and Shannon Touey; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter. 
    A private service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
    Arrangements are under the care of Stephens Family Chapel.
