Lloyd William Wilson, 70, of Grants Pass died June 18, 2008, at his home. Private family services will be held. He was born June 29, 1937, in Euclid Heights, Ohio, to Edward and Hazel Wilson. In 1955, he graduated from Grossmont High School in San Diego. After graduating, he joined the Marine Corps and served until 1959. For 32 years, he worked for Saw & Supply in San Diego as a sales manager. On Feb. 2, 1980, in Santee, Calif., he married Verna "Lee" Stevens, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in 1992 from San Diego. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and reading Louis L'Amour books. In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Kathi Zuckor and Judi Vincent, both of San Diego; a son, Bill Wilson of Grants Pass; a brother, Eddie Wilson of New Mexico; three sisters, Shirley Denton of San Diego, Nancy Castigleone of Arizona, and Bonnie White of Sandy; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
