Linda Lou Willis, 64, of Grants Pass died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at noon at the Salvation Army. A potluck will follow at the home of Tammy Cochran, 1380 Ojai Ave., Grants Pass. Willis was born Jan. 16, 1946, in Odessa, Texas, to Robert and Florence Sturges. In 1960, she moved to California, where she graduated from Lawndale High School in 1964. On Dec. 3, 1974, in Grants Pass, she married William R. Willis, who survives. She worked at the Riverside and Redwood motels for many years. She enjoyed puzzles, gardening, housework and camping. She especially enjoyed baking and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Penny Keto of Grants Pass, and Charlene Ruppel of Redmond; a sister, Mary Bennett of Barstow, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
