Lester L. Ferrell

Lester L. Ferrell, 80, of Grants Pass passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008, at his residence Grants Pass. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008, 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Church in Grants Pass. Lester was born on February 6, 1928 in Murphysboro, Illinois to Earl and Mary Ferrell. During WWII he served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. Lester married Nona Joann Graff in Murphysboro, Illinois; she preceded him in death in 1998. Lester worked as a Pharmacist for over 40 years. He moved to Grants Pass in September of 2006 from Portland, Oregon. Lester enjoyed golfing, hunting, reading and attending the bible study group at Countryside Village. Survivors include his son Richard Ferrell of Wilderville, OR; brother, Gene Ferrell of Sarasota, FL and three grandchildren. In addition to his wife Nona he is preceded in death by his daughter Leslie Swanson in 1991 and his twin brother Chester Ferrell who passed away in 2006.
