Leora Isabel Bradburry

Leora Isabel "Lee" Bradburry, 84, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Arbor House of Grants Pass. A family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. She was born Leora Isabel Norton, July 22, 1925, in Sioux City, Iowa. On Dec. 7, 1946, she married Robert Leland Bradburry, who died in 1991. They moved to Southern California in 1951. In 1962, they moved to Grants Pass. She enjoyed reading, sewing and active debating. Survivors include three daughters, Terry Vest of Grants Pass, Deborah Chamberlin of Richland, and Terri Lynn Bradburry of Portland; son, Doug Bradburry of Prescott, Wis., and son-in-law Jim Chamberlin of Richland; three sisters, Patricia Martin of Las Vegas, and Pam Halbersua and Betty Lester, both of Portland; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Five children, Kevin, Ray, Charles, Barbara and Charlotte, and a grandson, Jacob, died before her.
