Leone Elliott

Leone (Menzies) Elliott, 90, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at her residence. Many friends gathered for a celebration of life party on November 17, 2009 as was her wish. Elliott was born May 26, 1919, in Saskatchewan, Canada. She moved to Stockton, Calif., in 1940, and to Grants Pass in 1964. For many years, she worked in the business office of the former Josephine Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed collecting recipes and baking. Surviving are two sons Raymond H. Elliott and Donald L. Elliott of Grants Pass, grandson Allan H. Elliott, and great-grandson Devin J. Elliott of La Mesa, California and many relatives in Canada. Her husband, Ben H. Elliott, died in 1994.
