Elighia "Lee" Biley, 78, of Grants Pass died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at his daughter's home in Grants Pass. Services will be held in the spring time. He was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Rapid City, S.D., to Peter and Fannie Biley. During the Korean War, he served in the Army from Jan. 26, 1951, until his honorable discharge on Dec. 22, 1952. He worked at the Gold Stake Mine in the Black Hills of South Dakota for six years before moving to Grants Pass in 1959. He then worked for Southern Oregon Plywood for 29 years until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed raising geese, gardening, gun collecting, cars, motorcycles and spending time with his family. Survivors include three daughters, Leanne Mori of Glendale, Calif., Linda Pinks of Grants Pass, and Shanna Biley of Hermiston; a son, John Peter Biley of Grants Pass; and four grandchildren.
