Lawrence Justin Schmitz

Lawrence Justin Schmitz, 82, of Cave Junction passed away April 23, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. No services are planned He was born on July 30, 1928 in Seneca, Kansas to William and Alice Schmitz. He worked for over 40 years in retail and wholesale meat as a meat cutter. In 1987 he moved from San Jose, California to Cave Junction. Lawrence married Carol Ann Poppeck on December 31, 1988 in Cave Junction. He enjoyed cooking, dancing, music and his dog Pinky. In addition to his wife survivors include his daughter Eva Schmitz of San Jose, California and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren
