Laura Robinson

Laura Robinson, 30, of Grants Pass passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held at a later date. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Howling Acres Animal Sanctuary 555 Davidson Rd. Williams, Oregon 97544 Laura was born on January 4, 1978 in Gainesville, Florida. She graduated from Henry E. Lackey High School, Indian Head, Maryland class of 1996. Laura worked as an animal care technician from 1997 until 2002. In 2006 she moved to Grants Pass from Florida. Laura was a volunteer at Howling Acres Wolf Sanctuary. Laura loved music, reading writings from author Piers Anthony and most of all her kitty cat “Lil Dude”. Survivors include her mother Alexis Smith of Grants Pass; Father and Step-mother John and Sandi Robinson of Hawthorne, FL; Sister and Brother-in-law Crista and Jason Yilek of Grants Pass, OR; 2 nephews and 1 niece of Grants Pass; three uncles, Mark Smith of Smithburg, WV, Billy Robinson and Richard Robinson of Hawthorne, F; Aunt Teresa Turner of Hawthorne, FL.
