Kenneth Gilbert Moore

Kenneth Gilbert Moore, 84, of Grants Pass died Monday, March 7, 2011, at The Heritage House Adult Foster Care Home in Grants Pass. No services are planned He was born on December 30, 1926 in Pomona, California to Charles and Wanda Moore. He served in the United States Navy Air Force from March 15, 1944 served in the South China Sea as a gunner on a seaplane until his honorable discharge as an Aviation Machinist's Mate (Flight Engineer) Third Class on May 8, 1946. On September 2, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Ida Mae Woods who survives. Kenneth worked as an Electrical Contracts Manager for Kaiser Engineers International, which took him all over the world. In 1986 Kenneth and Ida moved to Grants Pass from Arizona. He enjoyed Target shooting and hunting. In addition to his wife Ida of Grants Pass survivors include his son Craig Johnson of Hesperia, California; stepson Don Deeds of Redding, California; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
