Kenneth C. Gandy, 83, of Grants Pass died Feb. 3, 2010, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. No services are planned. He was born July 17, 1926, in Patterson, Calif., to George and Hazel Gandy. He served in the Navy during World War II as a radioman third class from May 8, 1944, until his honorable discharge on March 10, 1946. On Sept. 15, 1944, in Boulder, Colo., he married Vivian Louise Bolton, who survives. They moved to Wimer in 1971 from Anaheim, Calif. For most of his life, he worked as an electrician. He was a member of the Lions Club in Rogue River. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Don Gandy of Grants Pass; a daughter, Janice Martin of Grants Pass; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
