Keith S. Todd, 75, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Church with Ron Hayworth, pastor, officiating. Contributions may be made to Calvary Church of Grants Pass, 2193 Midway Ave., Grants Pass, OR 97527. Todd was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Colville, Wash. He served in the Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1956. He started working for Pacific Bell in 1956 and retired in 1992. After retiring, he did some consulting work for Air-Tel Cellular in Spain and Belgium. In March 1990, in Fair Oaks, Calif., he married his wife, Leatha, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in October 1996 from Rio Linda, Calif. He was a member of Calvary Church. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, jazz, bow hunting, theater, cooking, gardening and tinkering. He spent a lot of time at Dutcher Creek Golf Course, where he had achieved a hole-in-one and also was struck by lightning. In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Sandra L. Garcia of Granite Bay, Calif., Debra J. Rhymes of Manteca, Calif., and Sheila Clark of Los Gatos, Calif.; a son, James McGarrah of Grants Pass; four brothers, Gene Todd of Sisters, David Todd of Rialto, Calif., Bob Todd of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Bill Fry of Bernie, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, Rocky L. Scott, died in 2001.
