Grants Pass resident Keith James Ferguson, 44, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Rogue Valley Medical Center, as the result of a dissected aorta. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Sunday, June 8th at the Riverside Park Trevillian Pavilion. All are welcome. Keith was born December 17, 1969, in Inglewood, California to James and Donna (Squiers) Ferguson. He lived in Crescent City, CA until his family moved to Grants Pass in 1981. He went to Highland Elementary, North Middle School and Grants Pass High School, where he graduated in 1988. He married his high school sweetheart, Nicole (Bonner) Ferguson on October 8, 1988, who survives. Together they managed the Sweet Breeze Inn for many years. Later he became a gardener/ landscaper. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, walking, organic gardening and championing his causes to make this world a better place. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter and son in law, Lacey and Josh Powell of Winston; a son, Coty Ferguson, of Grants Pass; his mother, Donna Ferguson of Grants Pass; sister, Lorraine O'Dell; of Nevada and a brother, Ryan Ferguson of Grants Pass. His Grandparents, Starling and Mary Squiers, and his father James Ferguson, passed away before him.
