Kathryn Dorothy Dowling-Stevens

Kathryn D. Dowling, 71, of Grants Pass, OR went home to be with the Lord on
September 10, 2023. She was born November 14, 1951, to Francis and Tommy
Maselli. Funeral services will be held at Stephens Family Chapel Monday
September 26th at 2:00 PM.
Kathy, a caring mother, devoted grandmother, sweet sister, and most faithful friend,
is survived by her daughters; Kassy and Denise, grandchildren; Abby, Braylen, and
Brielle, and sisters Janet and Denise. She is preceded in death by her mother
Francis, her father Tommy, and her brother Timmy.
After marrying, Kathy and Gary moved the family from California to Oregon
where they bought their first home. Kathy worked hard and met many new friends.
All who knew her would say she never knew a stranger. She truly loved everyone
she met. No matter the circumstance, Kathy always had a positive outlook on life.
Her personality shined brighter than the sun and she lit up every room she came
into. Sacrificing her own needs, she constantly put others in front of herself.
The impact she left on others is immeasurable and because of that so many are left
with an unfillable gap in their hearts. “Now is your time of grief, but I will see you
again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” John 16:22 She
will be utterly missed. Until we see you again!
