Kathryn Cook

Kathryn Jean Doran - Cook, 89 of Grants Pass passed away January 3, 2012 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. No services are planned She was born on July 14, 1922 in Merced, California to Elmer and Mabel Doran. She worked for the State of California as a secretary and then as a cook for VHM Christian School in Santa Cruz, CA. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and a pioneer in the natural food and health movement. She enjoyed Bible Studies, attending religious meetings, organic gardening, growing roses, eating chocolate and relishing rocky road ice cream. The gift of her smile and laughter is something that will never be forgotten.
