Judy Faye Wallace

Judy Faye Wallace, 57, of Kerby died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. No services are planned. Stephens Family Chapel is in charge of cremation arrangements. Wallace was born Feb. 27, 1952, in Grants Pass to Clifford and Anita Phillips. She grew up in Cave Junction and graduated from Illinois Valley High School. In September 1971, in Reno, she married Loren J. Wallace, who died in 1979. For 16 years, she worked in the Evergreen Elementary School kitchen and retired as kitchen manager due to failing health. She enjoyed sewing, baking, trips to the coast and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Kim Medrano of Kerby; a son, Jeff Wallace of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother, Cliff Phillips of Cave Junction; a sister, Beverly Warren of Aloha; and four grandchildren.
