Josephine Klopcsik, 95 of Grants Pass passed away on February 6, 2011 at Wach Inn Foster Home in Grants Pass Rosary will be held Thursday, 1PM at St. Anne Catholic Church with a Mass following at 2:00 PM. Private Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Contributions: St. Anne's Alter Society or VFW Woman's Auxiliary. She was born on March 18, 1915 in South St. Paul Minnesota to Vince and Maria MiKacevich. She attended schools in South St. Paul Minnesota. While in Jr. High she won an award for her penmanship and the school had her rewrite the schools constitution, something she was extremely proud of. On September 26, 1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada she married Steven B. Klopcsik he preceded her in death. Josephine worked most of her life, as a young girl she would babysit and clean house and waitress. She eventually became a butcher at Swift & Company where she worked for many years. In October of 1971 they moved from South St. Paul to Grants Pass. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, sketching pictures, flower gardening, spending time with family and friends, and dancing. Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Jordan of Grants Pass and Nancy Classen of St. Paul, MN; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Her husband Steve Klopcsik, Son Richard Lins and grandson Richard Lins Jr, preceded her in death.
