Johnny B. Wagner, 72 of Grants Pass died Friday, December 24, 2010 at his home. Services with military honors will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011, 2:00 PM at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Father Mike Walker of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point officiating. He was born on December 21, 1938 in Bremerhaven, Germany. He served in the United States Navy from March 20, 1956 until his honorable discharge on November 20, 1959 He worked for 40 years in the automotive industry working 20 years as parts manager and 20 years as service manager. Johnny moved to Grants Pass in July of 1999. He married Margie Trujillo on July 19, 2001 in Grants Pass. He was a member of the Lions Club for 26 years. He loved John Deere tractors, hunting, fishing and G Scale trains. Survivors include his wife Marjie Wagner of Grants Pass; Daughter Eileen Wagner of Tracy, CA; daughter, Yvonne Hall of Camas, WA; Son, David Wagner or Newark, CA; daughter Elizabeth Wagner-Kingston of Elk Grove, CA; step-daughter Deborah Koolpe of San Jose, CA; step-son David Forest of San Jose, CA; 6 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Wagner in 2005.
