John Fraley Rushworth

John Fraley Rushworth, 75 of Grants Pass passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 17, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to William and Laverne Rushworth. John served in the US Navy from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1962. He worked for Pac-Bell from 1963 until 1993 when he retired. In Reno, he married Monetta Johnson she preceded him in death, September 23, 2009. They moved to Grants Pass from Vacaville, CA, in October 1995. John was a member of the Grants Pass Moose Lodge #2454 and past Governor 1999-2000. He enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, shooting pool and spending time with friends. John was an avid Oakland Raider fan. Survivors include three daughters, Paris Smith and Kristi Ferrell of Grants Pass and Kelly Bronson of California; five sons, Craig Rushworth of Grants Pass; John Rushworth of Missouri; Mark and Bill Rushworth both of California and Perry Coffman of California; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
