John Edward Hamlin

John Edward Hamlin, 56, of Grants Pass died Sunday February 22, 2009 from cancer at his residence where he was being cared for by his niece Lacy, in Grants Pass. No services are planned Born on April 11, 1952 in Grants Pass, Oregon to John and Helen Hamlin. John attended Grants Pass area schools. He worked for many years in the Rogue Valley as a block mason. On April 12, 1991 in Yuma, Arizona he married Joan Mauldin she preceded him in death. John enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include his son John Hamlin of Arizona; two brothers, Norman Hamlin of Bend, OR and Marty Hamlin of Grants Pass; sister, Sharon “Dusty” Webb of Grants Pass; step-father, Bob Jubber of Grants Pass; two step-brothers, Ron Jubber and Dan Jubber of Eugene, OR; step-sister Donna Urton of Bull City, AZ; three grandchildren.
