John Thomas Adams II, 76, of Grants Pass died peacefully October 28, 2010, at his home. A memorial Service with military honors will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel, in Grants Pass. Following the service there will be a celebration of John's life with a potluck at Holiday Park Gardens Recreation Room, 1051 E.Park St. Private interment Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Oregon. Contributions may be made to: Edgewater Christian Fellowship Street Ministries, 1701 NE 6th St. #A, Grants Pass , Oregon 97526 John was born on October 3, 1934 in Stantonsburg , North Carolina to Floyd and Mildred Adams. He served in the United States Navy from August 8, 1952 until his honorable discharge on September 27, 1955. He then enlisted in the Air Force on July 12, 1956, where he served until his honorable discharge on September 8, 1960. John married Joan F. Schueller on July 31,1958 in Spanaway , WA, and she preceded him in death. He married his wife Nada on May 5, 2006. John was a Pastor in Full Gospel Ministry since 1996; serving in the word, music, and by example. John loved country gospel singing and playing his guitar, golf, gardening and his family. Survivors include his wife Nada Adams of Grants Pass; four sons, Johnny (Jennifer) Adams III of Lacey, WA, Jeffery (Connie) Adams of Grants Pass, OR, Floyd (Gayle) Adams of Bonney Lake, Wash, and Heath (Georgie)Greene of Reedsport, Oregon; two daughters, Debra (John) Pagarigan of Grants Pass and Jodi (Cory) Tannehill of San Diego, CA; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Joan Adams, his daughter Connie Frances Adams preceded him in death
