Joanna Marie Gullock

Joanna (Giovanna) Marie Gullock was born on May 18, 1940 to Victor and Mary Romano in Providence, Rhode Island. Her family settled in California in 1952, which is when she met her future husband, Thomas, in the 7th grade. For him, it was love at first sight, though he needed a growth spurt before pursuing her. They married in 1958 after attending El Monte High School, and had three daughters, eventually moving north to Grants Pass in 1973. 

Joanna had many hobbies and interests, including RVing, making doll houses, being an active member in T.O.P.S., going to casinos, and spending time with family. She also attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Grants Pass.

Joanna is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Gullock; her daughters, Teri Gloor (Grant), Tammy Price (Vance), and Georgia Bushnell (Steve); her sister, Anna Cook; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. 

She passed away under the steadfast care of her family on July 27, 2024. A visitation will be held on August 3, 2024 at 3pm at Stephens Family Chapel for those wishing to attend, and a funeral service will follow at 4pm in her honor.
