Joann Ward

Joann Ward, 67, of Grants Pass died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stephens Family Chapel, with Ken Bern, pastor, officiating. Ward was born July 30, 1940, in Seattle to Joseph and Beth Harper. On April 16, 1960, in Las Vegas, she married Earl Ward, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in September 1983 from Encino, Calif. She and her husband were members of the North Pacific Grange. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and working around her home. She also enjoyed playing bingo, camping and spending time in the outdoors. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Joseph Ward of Grants Pass; a sister, Peggy Albert of Grants Pass; and four grandchildren.
