Joan Marie Witham

Joan Marie Witham, 79, of Grants Pass died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Fair View Transitional Health Center. Interment with military honors will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Josephine County, P.O. Box 5045, Grants Pass, OR 97528. Witham was born May 24, 1930, in Spring Grove, Ind. She enjoyed cooking and animals, especially her cat. Survivors include her companion, Pete Jefferds of Grants Pass.
