Joan Frances Bille

Joan Frances Bille, 60, of Grants Pass passed away Thursday October 4, 2012 at Asante' Rogue Regional Medical Center from injuries she received in a motorcycle accident. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 9th, 1:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern Officiating. Private Interment: Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Joan was born on September 27, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Carl and Ellen Swiontek. She married John Bille on December 24, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Grants Pass from Chicago in 1992. Joan worked for the past 18 years for Southern Oregon Medical Center and Asante' Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass. She enjoyed reading, skiing, camping and soccer. In addition to her husband survivors include two sons, Travis Bille of McKinleyville, CA and Dallas Bille of Grants Pass; granddaughter Scout Bille of McKinleyville, CA; brother and sister-in-law Michael & Barbara Swiontek of San Jose, CA and her sister Mary Ellen Dessimoz of Chicago, Illinois
