Jessie H. Sander, 86 of Grants Pass passed away, May 19, 2012 at her home. No services are planned She was born on December 17, 1925 in Ventura, California to Charles & Wilma Cummins. She graduated from Antelope Valley High School and attended UCLA. Jessie worked many years as a Chemical and Environmental Engineer for US Borax Chemical Company in Boron, California. On October 4, 1977 in Enumclaw, Washington she married Maurice Sander who survives. In 1998 Jessie and Maurice moved to Grants Pass from Bonney Lake, Washington. She was a member of the Grants Pass Moose Lodge #2454 and College Heights Baptist Church. She aas an artist enjoying watercolors, Oils, beadwork, reading, playing cards, sewing tapestries, fishing, camping and horses. In addition to her husband survivors include two daughters, Christine L. Hiebert of Grants Pass and Carol L. Pridgen of Mojave, CA; stepson Mathew D. Sander of Helendale, CA and step-daughter Tracy R. Lewter of McCalla, AL; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her son Donovan L. Hiebert in 1981 and grandson Charles D. Pridgen preceded her in death in 1998.
