Jessie E. Nash

Jessie E. Nash, 86, of Grants Pass died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Stephens Family Chapel. Interment will be at Tehachapi Public Cemetery in Tehachapi, Calif. She was born Jessalina Elisabeth Stewart on Oct. 17, 1923, in Bonne Terre, Mo., to Louis and Mary Stewart. In Missouri, she married Albert Jackson Nash, who died in 1981. In 2005, she moved to Grants Pass from California. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club in Tehachapi and she enjoyed rug latching and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Storie of Grants Pass; two sons, Larry Nash of Tehachapi, Calif., and Butch Nash of Cave Springs, Ark.; and two brothers, Clarence Stuthers of Missouri, and Jerry Stuthers of Lexington, Tenn; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
