Jerry Raymond Starr

Jerry Raymond Starr, 65 of Grants Pass passed away on September 20, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital. Celebration of his life will be held at the family home on Saturday, October 8th at 5:00 PM. A sea scattering will be held on Sunday, October 9th at Lone Ranch Beach in Brookings, Oregon. He was born on September 20, 1946 in Lakeport, California to Pater and Frances Starr. He married Brenda Sue Fambrough on January 31, 1965 she preceded him in death earlier this year. In 1968 they moved from Vallejo, California to the Rogue Valley. In 1999 they moved to Grants Pass from Shady Cove. Jerry worked for Caveman Towing for more then 13 years. He loved fishing, Hunting and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Richard & Jennie Starr of Grants Pass; son & daughter-in-law Jerry & Sonja (Ruff) Starr of Medford and two granddaughters.
