Jerome Patrick Cronin

Jerome Patrick Cronin, 32, of Sunny Valley died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at his home. A remembrance of his life will be held at 6pm, Wednesday, July 6 2011, at Riverside Park, Grants Pass, OR. A celebration of his love for life and creation. He was born March 24, 1979 in Anaheim, CA. He lived in Eagle Point with his parents until moved to Grants Pass in 1986 were he resided with his grandparents Embert and Sheila Smalley. As an adolescent he participated in the Cadet program, and theater. After graduating high school with 4.0 GPA, in the top 1% of the nation, in 1997 Jerry was in Job Corp for 3 years in computer technology. He then traveled, and kept a home base at the Wolf Creek Sanctuary. He lived at the Wolf Creek Sanctuary for many years until settling in Sunny Valley a year ago. Jerome was also known as "JP Heartsong", "Spiral", and "Luna" by his friends. He had great dedication, appreciation, and love for the earth. He enjoyed learning new things about the earth and what it provides. He also taught classes about Camas root and Flower root which he learned while living on the native hoop for 12 months. Survivors include his mother Pamela Smalley of Grants Pass, OR; a brother Reggie Cronin of Grants Pass, OR;and a niece and nephew. His father Vincent Cronin, died before him in 2006. His adopted family with whom he celebrated events are with out number.
