Janet Lee Holsey

Janet Lee Holsey, 59 of Grants Pass passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Oregon Health & Science Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014, 1:00 PM at Church of Later-day Saints Stake Center, 1969 Williams Hwy., Grants Pass. A Committal service will be held at a later date at Granite Hill Cemetery. Janet was born on September 8, 1955 in Lynwood, California to Edward and Carolyn Barlow. She graduated high school and also attended college in southern California. While living in Yuba City, CA she meet Bobby Holsey in 1986 they moved to Grants Pass in 1989. On September 22, 1990 they married in Brookings, Oregon. For 25 years Janet worked for the Best Western Grants Pass Inn where she was the executive housekeeper and purchasing agent. She enjoyed photography, collecting salt & pepper shakers, growing dahlias and roses and playing with her dogs and cats. In addition to her husband survivors include her daughter Trina Marchand of Grants Pass; Sister Carol Barlow of Lompoc, CA; 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Donna Barlow who also passed away in 2010 also on October 23rd.
