James Nunley

James Albert Nunley past away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, May 2nd, 2019, at his home in Grants Pass, Oregon at the age of 90.

James suffered from bone and skin cancer, but he gracefully pulled through to the very end with the abundant love of his wife Mary Anne Nunley.

James Albert Nunley was born May 6th, 1929 in Chase City Virginia, to the parents of Elenora Lucile and Albert Hayes Nunley.

James was the third oldest, of 6 siblings, and the only boy. James was born with a disability to his arm that was permanently injured during birth, but James never let that disability stand in his way! A father of three boys and two girls prevailed as a strong determined, hardworking, generous, kind-hearted, loving and devoted father and husband.

James married Mary Anne Oliver May 2nd, 1954, and started their lives together. James and Mary had their first child a beautiful baby girl, then three handsome sons and their last surprise another baby girl. James and Mary were doting parents and hardworking and started a cleaning business together in Boston, Massachusettes. James passed his hardworking attributes to his amazing sons James Kevin Michael, Joseph Edward, and David Mark Nunley who he was so proud of. James was quite a go-getter and even opened a toy store with his late brother-in-law Chester Oliver in Dorchester, Massachusetts. James also worked as a manager/ sales at Winchester Carton for 30 years in Winchester, Massachusetts.

James Albert Nunley was the sun in the sunshine, the zest in life, and the joy in joyfulness, but most importanly he loved God and received abundant blessings from his father in heaven!

James is survived by:
