James Robert LaFlamme (Bob) entered this earth in Long Beach, California on Easter Sunday April 20, 1930. He passed on May 10, 2014 leaving behind many sad hearts. Bob was the youngest of three sons, born to Charles H. LaFlamme and Wilhelmiena C. Rabens. Bob completed Narbonne High School, enjoying the years of his youth. The Korean War came along and he was inducted for a two year term in the Army. After his term in the Army, he became a Los Angeles City Firemen, serving the next twenty-five years. The early years of being a firemen he met and married Barbara Duffy. The young couple had three sons, they divorced after fifteen years, remaining friends. Bob met Dolly through another firemen in 1972. After awhile they married and have been together for forty-two years. Bob is survived by his wife, his three sons Eric and wife Brenda, Carl and wife Lori, and John, his brother Wally and wife Della, sister-in-law Ann, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
