James H. Jackson

James H. Jackson, 90, of Grants Pass passed away September 18, 2009 at Fair View Transitional Health Center in Grants Pass. Services with Military honors will be held Thursday, October 1st, 1:00 PM at Eagle Point National Cemetery. James was born on March 19, 1919 in Henry, Texas to Walter and Nell Jackson. He served in the U.S. Army from April 1941 until his honorable discharge January 4, 1946. He married Maxine Horner on June 18, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. James worked for the United States Postal Service for many years. Survivors include his wife Maxine Jackson of Grants Pass.
