Jake Carl Garrison

Jake Carl Garrison, 74, of Merlin, Oregon passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his home.

Jake was born in Hollister, California to Thomas and Bonnie Garrison on July 30, 1946 and grew up in Salem, Oregon. He graduated from Cascade High School and went on to work in Forestry, as a Millwright, and eventually a General Contractor.

On August 24, 1968 Jake married the love of his life, Nancy Lynn Rackley. Their marriage spanned over 60 years and together they raised three children, Tracy, Krysta, and Jake. In addition to his family, his passions were hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his beloved dogs, Max and Maggie.

Jake is survived by his wife, Nancy Garrison, of Merlin, OR; two daughters, Tracy Garrison, of Grants Pass, OR, and Krysta Garrison, of Grants Pass, OR; son, Jake Edward Garrison, of Merlin, OR; 4 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; and 9 great-granddaughters.
