Jack R. Queen, 76 of Grants Pass, Oregon passed away December 21, 2014 at his home in Grants Pass. Services will be held at his home at a later date. Jack was born on September 3rd, 1938 to Sanford and Rose Queen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He moved to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1974 from Winters, California. He was a Carpenter for most of his life, and worked for Westwood Construction for more than 6 years. He was a member of N.W. Gold & Gems. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gold panning, fishing, camping, baseball, football and NASCAR. Mr. Queen, is preceded in death by; mother Rose Puerner; sisters Nancy Dawson and Florence Williams; brothers Al Queen and James Queen. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Queen of Grants Pass, Oregon; son Richard Queen of Ravensdale, Washington; daughter Karen Beairsto of Selma, Oregon; sisters Marlene Roggenbach of Umatilla, Florida and Carol Hauner of Fort Bragg, California; including 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
