Isabelle "Anne" Hill, 81, of Grants Pass died July 14, 2008, at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Stephens Family Chapel, with Larry Gibson, pastor of Gateway Christian Fellowship of Seventh-day Adventist, officiating. Hill was born March 23, 1927, in Medford to Forest and Hilda Sinclair. On May 12, 1945, in Reno, she married Jack Hill, who died before her. She worked for Woolworth's as the manager of the restaurant for several years, and she also worked as a waitress at Thelma's Caf?é© and the Rogue Food Shop. From 1969 to 1973, she owned and operated Anne's Caf?é©. For many years, she was a member of Gateway Christian Fellowship of Seventh-day Adventist, where she enjoyed volunteering. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and knitting. Survivors include a son, Steve Hill of Grants Pass; and two sisters, Vida Pence of Grants Pass, and Inez Redding of Hermiston.
