Ina Bessie Jones

Ina Bessie Jones, 96, of Sunny Valley died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her daughter's home in Sunny Valley. Visitation will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista in Brownsville, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville. Jones was born Dec. 21, 1912, in Bonner Springs, Kan., to William and Siera Bailey. In Minnesota, she married Alfred A. Jones, who died Aug. 13, 1989. She was a longtime resident of Brownsville, where she was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed whistling, sewing and painting. Survivors include two daughters, Helena Webb of Grants Pass, and Janet Kugel of Sunny Valley; a son, Edward Jones of Brownsville, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
