Hubert Lee Gardner

Hubert “Curly” Lee Gardner, 59, of Grants Pass died May 4, 2009, at his home with his grandson by his side. Curly was born on June 23, 1949 in Santa Paula, California to Hubert and Bernice Gardner. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge on February 1, 1971. Curly worked most of his life as a truck driver and mechanic. He truly enjoyed being a mechanic. Curly enjoyed building and racing cars with his brother Butch and Nephew Rick. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy “Kat” Gardner of Ventura, CA and Wendy Anderson of Point Mugu, CA; brother, Butch Jump of Grants Pass; Niece Debbie Burris of Grants Pass; Nephew Rick Jump of Grants Pass: and five grandchildren grandson Bryan and granddaughter, Azurdee of Ventura, CA; Grandson, Nick and granddaughters Liz & Kahly of Point Mugu, CA.
