Howard Hamilton Hands

Howard Hamilton Hands, 88, of Grants Pass died April 4, 2011, at his home in Grants Pass. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, 11:00 am, at Stephens Family Chapel. He was born on September 17, 1922 in Revelstoke BC, Canada. Howard a WWII veteran served in the United States Navy from September 11, 1941 until his honorable discharge on September 2, 1947. He graduated with a Masters Degree from UCLA. He worked most of his life as an Electronics Engineer in Aerospace. Howard married Rose Pang who survives. In 1986 they moved to Grants Pass from Camarillo, CA. Howard enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and riding his tractor. In addition to his wife survivors include his son Russell Hands of Benicia, CA; three daughters, Gail Jamieson of Patterson, CA, Jeanette Wisler of Paso Roble, CA; Katherine Krahn of West Sacramento, CA; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
