Helen Jane Thompson

Helen Jane Thomas, 87 of Grants Pass died Monday, October 25, 2010 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring Born on December 5, 1922 in Minnesota to Sam and Esther Willson. Married Richard L Clemensen who was killed in WWII on September 12, 1944 in Belgium. She then married Roy C. Thomas; he preceded her in death in April 2005. As a young mother, she taught Children̢۪s Bible classes in her home. Helen moved from San Jose to Grants Pass in 2000. She enjoyed sewing and she loved the Lord and she attended Dayspring Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter Lyn Phelps of Grants Pass; sons, Roy Thomas and David Thomas of St. Marie, Montana; brother Dick Wilson of Myrtle Creek, OR; sister Betty Ketsdever of Bandon, OR; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
