Harry Edward Messinger Jr.

Harry (Harr Bear) Edward Messinger, 62 of Grants Pass passed away June 2011 at his home in Grants Pass. Services will be held at 6:00 PM on July 8th at Stephens Family Chapel 1629 Williams Highway Grants Pass (541)476-7900. Harry Edward Messinger Jr. was born in Grants Pass, Oregon to Harry and Maxine Messinger on June 3, 1949. He attended Grants Pass High School. Harry served in the US Navy Company 439 from Sept 1968 to July 1972. Harry received a trade in Office Machines and then worked for Colvin Oil Company of Grants Pass. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He loved to collect Indian Artifacts. On May 27th 1995 he married the love of his life Christie Lastair. Harry is survived by his sister in law Tina Messinger, Nephews Joshua and Michael Messinger, Ron Butler. Brothers, Max & Mary Hull and Eddie Hull. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ron and his beloved wife Christie.
