Harold Edward Marsh

Harold Marsh, age 73, of Grants Pass, OR passed away January 15, 2013. A celebration of Harold's life will be held at Calvary Church, 2193 Midway Avenue, Grants Pass, OR 97527 on Friday January 25th at 2pm. Harold was born December 2, 1939 to his parents Ergin and Grace Marsh in Littlerock, AR. He graduated from Corona High School in Corona, CA in 1959 where he played football, basketball, track and baseball and earned letters in several. Harold married wife Char in June of 1962, and then came daughters Jenny & Jolene. He spent most of his time while the girls were growing up as the "Rodeo Dad" to his daughters and their friends. After 30 years with the County of Orange, Harold was able to retire and move the family to Oregon. He loved being a grandpa to Holli, Jordan and Molly, who he shared his love of fishing, horses, art and sports with. Harold had a passion for life & people that is equaled by few. He enjoyed wood-working and helping anyone who needed it. He loved football and he loved his "Ducks". Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Elmer. He is survived by his wife Char, daughter Jenny Hunter and husband Jeff, daughter Jolene Myers and husband Joe, three grandchildren, brothers Gilbert, Willard and AJ, and many nieces, nephews and friends. The Marsh family would like to thank Lovejoy Hospice for their compassion and excellent care in our family's time of need.
