Harold Richard "Rick" Hash, 53, of Grants Pass died Jan. 10, 2011, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. A graveside service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. He was born Aug. 18, 1957, in San Mateo, Calif., to Harold and Francis Hash. When he was young, his family moved to Redding, Calif., where he lived until joining the Navy in 1974. In 1975, while in the Navy, he met and married Rebecca "Becky" Wright, who died in 1984. They had two children, Richard and Lisa. After completing his military service, he was discharged in 1978. He and his wife moved to Westminster, Calif., and he worked for Todd's Shipyard as a welder. In 1997, he married Kathleen "Kathy" Silvey, who survives. They had a son, Jonathan. In 1990, they moved to Redding, Calif., where he worked for Sierra Pacific as a fabricator. In 2005, they moved to Grants Pass. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, hunting and watching western movies. He especially enjoyed his family. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Richard and John; a daughter, Lisa; a stepdaughter, Dana; a brother, Larry; two sisters, Lynn and Cindy; and three grandchildren
