Harold Robert Dowling

Harold Robert Dowling, 82, of Williams passed away May 9, 2009 in Grants Pass. Private family services are planned for a later date Harold was born on August 24, 1926 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to David and Claris Dowling. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. On October 15, 1949 in Santa Cruise, California he married Imogene Hervey who survives. Harold worked for National Can Corporation from the 1940̢۪s until his retirement in 1985; he was the head maintenance machinist. After his retirement the moved to Williams from San Leandro, California. Harold enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting, camping and working with livestock. In addition to his wife survivors include a daughter, Deborah Davidson of Grants Pass; two sons, David and Gary Dowling of Williams, OR.; brother Frank Dowling of Fresno, CA; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a parents David and Claris Dowling and his sister Marjorie Dowling.
