Henry "Hank" Meade Ross, 71, of Rogue River died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at his home. No services will be held. Ross was born April 27, 1937, in Browning, Mont. In 1940, he moved to Anchorage, Alaska, with his parents. He served in the Air National Guard of Alaska. He was a captain for Cordova Airlines in Alaska and for Pacific Southwest Airlines in San Diego. He also was chief corporate executive pilot for Riedel International in Portland. After retiring to Rogue River, he joined his mother and stepfather in raising Mars Angus cattle. Survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Demeris of Anchorage, Alaska, Darlene Anderson of Grants Pass, and Hazel Eichenburger of Switzerland; and two stepsisters, Dianne Dahlgren of Dallas, Texas, and Tamara Shores of Rogue River.
