Gloria Joan Lamkin

Gloria Lamkin, 76 of Grants Pass died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at her residence at Spring Village Retirement Community in Grants Pass. Celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM, Spring Village Retirement Community with Pastor Vince Vidlak of Cascade Bible Fellowship officiating. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 Gloria was born on October 15, 1930 to Hubert & Marguerite Hutchcroft in The Dalles, Oregon. She graduated from High School in Fairbanks, Alaska. On November 4, 1949 in Fairbanks she married Kenneth Lamkin who preceded her in death in 1986. Gloria moved to Grants Pass from Bend, Oregon in April of 2005. While living in Bend she volunteered with the auxiliary at St. Charles Medical Center. Gloria enjoyed spending time with family and her dog. She loved reading and taking trips to Reno. Survivors include a son, Richard Lamkin of Grants Pass and a daughter, Kathy Elmlund of Bend, Oregon; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren In addition to her husband Kenneth, Gloria is preceded in death by her brother Rod Hutchcroft in January of 2007.
