Gilbert Philip Aguinaga

February 4, 1947 — August 28, 2021

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Born in Mexico, Gilbert migrated to the United States with his two sisters at a very young age after losing both of his parents.

Gilbert graduated high school in 1966 and went on to work in the manufacturing industry. In 1974 he married Maria Bellen and had three children.

Gilbert was incredibly social and enjoyed spreading the word of God and sharing a meal with family and friends. Every meal was his "first meal of the day" and every cup of coffee was the best that he had tasted. He cherished his time with his grandchildren and spoke of them with pride and love.

Gilbert is survived by his sister Patricia (Mary) Vaquera of San Antonio, his children Alicia Romo and Andrew Aguinaga of Grants Pass, and grandchildren Danny, Gabriel, Alex, Xavier, Letty, Neci, Anaya, Eli, Rylee, Zoey and Isaac. His parents Cruz and Maria Isabelle, sister Bertha and daughter Monique preceded him in death.

If interested in attending the celebration of life it will be held at a private location on 9/25/2021 at 1 pm- please email treva49978@icloud.com for further details.
