Gib Hunt

Gilbert “Gib” Hunt, 85 of Grants Pass passed away, December 23, 2010 at his home. No services are planned Contributions: Rogue Valley Humane Society, PO Box 951, Grants Pass, Oregon 97528 Gilbert was born on January 3, 1926 in Taft, California to Warnt and Nellie Hunt. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from April 7, 1944 until his honorable discharge as an Electricians Mate Third Class on February 25, 1946. On July 25, 1948 he married Lorraine Nancy Barrett. For over 30 years he worked as a Gas Plant Foreman. In 1985 they moved from Taft, CA to Grants Pass. Gilbert enjoyed fishing, RVing and his dogs. Survivors include his wife Lorraine Hunt of Grants Pass and his daughter Michelle O’Brien of Grants Pass.
